hunts the hook
Takes the kickoff call and lives in your customer reviews until the buyer's own phrases jump out. Owns heroes, subject lines and the first sentence of everything.
About the desk · Faust Ave, Long Beach
Every launch starts with someone brave enough to ship. We're the two writers who make sure your first day sounds as sharp as the thing you built.
How we got here
Hallowell & Voss began the way plenty of good things do: with a friend's product, a Friday deadline, and a landing page that said nothing. We rewrote it over a weekend. Sign-ups moved. The calls started.
So we built the desk around that one job. Launch copy only: the page, the send, the guide. No retainers to nurse, no blog calendar to feed. Just the stretch of weeks where words decide whether people lean in or scroll past.
You bring the product and the date. We bring the read-your-reviews, interrogate-your-competitors, write-it-until-it-sings work, and hand you files you can paste and publish.
Two writers, one inbox
One of us hunts the headline. The other pressure-tests every line. You hear from both, in one thread.
Takes the kickoff call and lives in your customer reviews until the buyer's own phrases jump out. Owns heroes, subject lines and the first sentence of everything.
Reads each draft as a skeptical buyer would, then cuts whatever can't be backed up. Owns offers, objections, calls to action and the last-call email.
House rules
If the product really is new, we show the first thing a user does with it. Proof beats adjectives, every time.
No made-up testimonials, no padded numbers. We build the proof section from what you really have, even if it's three honest sentences.
Urgency has to be true. If the price rises Friday, we say Friday. If it doesn't, we find a better reason to act now.
If a line could sit on a competitor's page unchanged, it goes in the bin and we write it again.
